PHILIPPINES-After the wrath of Typhoon Sendong, Cagayanons are now recouping what they can still recover of their properties damaged by gargantuan floods that inundated port city of Cagayan de Oro and nearby areas , dawn of December 17.
Death toll continues to rise as rescuers keep on searching for dead bodies.
As of posting time, toll has climbed to 652 with 808 others missing, according to Philippine Red Cross. Much higher than what the government figured.
NDRRMC stated 35,000 people remain clustered in evacuation centers after the storm .
DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman was quick to respond to my tweet re: availability of enough evacuation centers for typhoon victims.
The tweet reads, “right now evac centers ok wil get update at 11 pm wil let u know thanks” ( @DinkySunflower)
Cagayanons are asking for help from the National Government and other organizations for immediate assistance. Though relief efforts were hampered by troubles in some areas, rescue and relief groups still continue on carrying on measures to reach out to victims.

Reports say, water source is expected to go back to normal operations in 3 days.
